Notable among these changes is the inclusion of winglets, purported to help with handling but likely to be little more than a styling exercise.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"margin_vertical\">\n<section class=\"content\">\n<div>\n<p class=\"paragraph | margin_bottom_lg margin_centered\">Updates that riders will be sure to notice on the road include new LED headlights that promise to improve visibility in low-light conditions, along with a new 5-inch TFT display screen. The bike is lighter than previous models thanks to a redesigned swingarm, and the bike\u2019s nimble character is enhanced by the use of a Showa SFF-BP fork and Pro-Link shock with nine-position spring preload adjustability.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"margin_vertical\">\n<section class=\"content\">\n<div>\n<p class=\"paragraph | margin_bottom_lg margin_centered\">Since its introduction in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorcyclistonline.com\/reviews\/honda-cbr500r-vs-kawasaki-ninja-300-batting-500\/\">2013<\/a>, the CBR500R has been a favorite among <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorcyclistonline.com\/beginner-guide-to-motorcycles\/\">beginner motorcycle<\/a> riders and those on a budget who want sportbike style and an approachable machine.
