The shaft-driven transmission promises to be light on maintenance, and elements like the five-speed gearbox and simple instrumentation hearken back to simpler times, as does the continued absence of ABS.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"margin_vertical\">\n<section class=\"content\">\n<div>\n<p class=\"paragraph | margin_bottom_lg margin_centered\">Since its introduction in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorcyclistonline.com\/first-ride-2006-suzuki-boulevard-m109r\/\">2006<\/a>, the Boulevard M109R has become a favorite for many, particularly for taller riders who appreciate its low-slung and expansive cockpit. It also has ample power output and a unique aesthetic.
