We ensure that the helmets we sell meet the DOT standard by having them tested regularly at an independent test facility. Liner is easily removable & machine washable

3 point sun visor for added strength & stylish looks. Helmets are light weight at just under 3lbs, however they are not recommended for children less than 5 years of age. Chest Protector:
Chrome shoulder & Thermoplastic alloy body shell. Wrap-around interior padding. Adjustable shoulder side straps/arm guard. Weight Recommendation: 50-75 lbs (US); 22-34kg (Metric) approximately. See our other combos for other sized chest protectors.

PLEASE PLEASE measure for size, we cannot impress on you enough how important it is that you measure for the correct size. Each manufacturers sizing is different. Measure the circumference of the largest part of the child’s head, (usually just above the eyebrows) in inches: Use a paper tape measure or a string and do not pull it too tight, loose like a hat would fit.
SIZE CHART Youth Small: 18 to 19, Youth Medium: 19 to 20, Youth Large: 20 to 21, Youth XL: 21 to 22. Head shapes can affect how a helmet fits, the size chart is meant to be a starting point. See the size chart in the listing pictures for all sizing.
