SMT2 Universal Synthetic Metal Treatment offers superior protection in any metal-to-metal application including automotive, heavy duty truck, marine, motor sports and small engines. SMT2 provides lasting protection for engine, transmission and power steering systems. The antifriction properties work at a molecular level. SMT2 is absorbed in the micro pores of ferrous (Fe) metal. SMT2 is not a lubricant that treats the oil or fluid. It conditions the metal surfaces and does not add volume to your oil. SMT2 reduces friction so significantly that fuel mileage will be increased. In addition to significantly reducing friction, improving fuel efficiency and power, SMT2 also reduces heat within the engine and extends the life of the engine and related components. SMT2 metal treatment technology is significant in the antifriction and anti-wear market. SMT2 is 100 percent synthetic, non-toxic and contains no petroleum. It actually changes friction by-products (pure Fe) into friction protection as it rebuilds the metal surfaces by filling in asperities and imperfections. It also has complete chemical affinity with mineral and synthetic petroleum and is soluble in all known lubricants and fluids. Being chemically inert, SMT2 does not disturb the pH balance of lubricants or fluids, plus SMT2 blocks oxidizing processes on the surfaces of the metal.
